Chilterns MS Centre Accessibility Statement

We've built in options that allow you to change the text size of the Chilterns MS Centre website however the best option is to change the settings on your computer and browser using the instructions below. This is useful if you need larger fonts or high-contrast colors and any changes made should apply to other sites you visit as well.

Controlling text and colours in your web browser

 

Internet Explorer

To resize text on the screen:

  • Go to the 'View' menu and select one of the options under 'Text Size'.

To permanently apply font and colour changes:

  • Go to the 'View/Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options'.
  • On the 'General' tab, select 'Accessibility',
  • then select the three check boxes to show ticks.

To change the text and background colour:

  • Go to the 'View/Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options'.
  • On the 'General' tab, select 'Colors',
  • then click on the tick box labelled 'Use Windows Colors'.
  • Click 'Text', and select the colour you want to use. Click 'OK'.

Mozilla Firefox

To resize text on the screen:

  • Go to the 'View' menu and select one of the options under 'Text Size' or 'Zoom'.

Opera

To resize text on the screen:

  • Go to the 'File' menu, select 'Preferences' then 'Fonts', then change 'Minimum font size (pixels)'.

Safari

To resize text on the screen:

  • Go to the 'View' menu and select 'Make Text Bigger' or press the Apple (cmd) Key and the plus key (+).
