Walk the MS Mile 2017 caught the imagination of the Chilterns

Walk the MS Mile 2017 is over!

 3 Saturdays … 5 Walk the MS Mile events … 300+ participants … 57,000 Twitter impressions… 14,000 Facebook impressions  … 5 mayors and deputy mayors, and 1 town crier!

Although sponsorship money is still being handed to us daily, Walk the MS Mile has raised a staggering £15,000 so far.  If you’d like to see how our online fundraising heroes did – or make a donation online – please click here.  Thank you.

With the phenomenal support we received from Mix96, plus Wycombe Sound, Marlow FM, Stoke Mandeville Radio and all the printed press, we estimate 100,000 people heard about the Chilterns MS Centre as a result of this event.  Raising awareness of our Centre means the 1,000 local people with multiple sclerosis will know there is support available – and that makes us very happy!

Over 1,300 people have Walked the MS Mile since it was launched in September 2015, raising over £100,000 in just three years.  Hannah and her team would like to thank everyone involved in helping to raise that sum, and awareness of the charity.  Thank you!
