Cognition Workshop

Cognition (brain function) can often be impacted by MS and other neurological conditions. This can have an effect on your memory, your ability to concentrate, your word-finding skills, your problem-solving skills, and lots more, which can make getting through the day challenging. Our Occupational Therapy team at the Chilterns MS Centre is starting a new workshop that aims to provide information, management tips and adaptive strategies to help you understand and manage your symptoms better.
The sessions with be run in groups, which will provide an opportunity to hear from peers and share experiences and ideas with each other, as well as hearing from an OT.
The sessions will be an hour and a half to two hours long, and during these sessions we will cover brain health; memory and recall; attention and concentration; thinking, learning and mental speed; planning and problem-solving; and language and word finding
