Fundraising & Communications Coordinator Required
Full-time – Temporary Contract (until end of April 2020)
You would be joining our busy, dynamic and friendly fundraising & communications team to help us raise our income target of just under £1 million. You will provide professional administrative and fundraising support, underpinning the team’s large programme of activities which includes community, events, trusts, corporate and major donor fundraising, as well as external and internal communications.
You will be the first point of contact for enquiries from supporters, providing excellent supporter care and referring fundraising leads to other members of the team where appropriate.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator and team player, with solid administrative, I.T and written skills and the ability to handle complex workloads in a high pressured but supportive environment. You will also need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to initiate and develop relationships with a wide range of people. You must be able work independently and as part of a team, managing your own time and several projects simultaneously.
This is a varied role and a great first step in a career in fundraising.
