Hair Raising Fundraising!

When hairdressers and barbers are all closed due to the lockdown, but you really need a trim, what do you do?  Perhaps ask your partner to trim an inch off the back, perhaps get them to try a short back and sides (if you can find any clippers that is!).

But some people have gone to extreme lengths to get a haircut and raise money for the Centre at the same time.  This has got us thinking!

Aaron has decided to hide his very familiar face and grow a beard.

Kelly’s son Lewis decided he’d shave his head and has raised over £500!

And member Sally decided she was fed up of her fading green (yes green!) hair – which she dyed for Walk the MS Mile in September – and shaved it all off too!

You can see their beautiful new looks below. Thank you to each and every one of you!

All of this got us thinking.  Who else would be able to brave the shave and take part in our Buzzcut Challenge?

All you have to do is decide on when you are going to do it, set up a fundraising page on Just Giving and be brave!  Get your family and friends to sponsor you.  Let us know you are doing it by emailing the Fundraising Team and share some before and after pics with us!  Whose in?

We are now open for a limited number of face-to-face physiotherapy, oxygen, exercise and acupuncture appointments. The Centre still remains closed to people without an appointment. Many of our services are now virtual services. For further information click here
