New Chief Executive at the Centre

The Chilterns MS Centre is delighted to announce that Richard Parkin will be taking over the role of Chief Executive when Andy Graham steps down at the end of the year.

Richard is the current Director of Finance and Resources at Union of Brunel Students at Brunel University where he had been since 2015, also performing the role of Deputy CEO and helping to steer the charity through Covid.

Prior to this he was the Head of Finance at European Watercare.

“I have a very deep respect for the success achieved by the Chilterns MS Centre, delivering so much for the people it cares for,” said Richard, on accepting his appointment. “It is a tremendous privilege to have been chosen to lead an amazing staff and volunteer team in taking on the challenge of progressing into a multi-condition centre. I’m really excited to meet all of our members and look forward to getting to know and work in partnership with the many fabulous people and organisations who share our passion and help the charity to remain able to help so many members.”

Richard brings with him over 36 years of experience leading teams. He has extensive experience of working at a senior management level since 1992, excelling in challenging and improving existing strategies, processes and formulating strategic plan delivery and execution.

Richard joins us at an exciting time as we move to become a multi-condition centre and we’re sure you’ll join us in giving him a warm welcome.
