WHO WE ARE
We value each and every person that contributes towards the work we do, from staff, trustees, volunteers and supporters. Everyone plays an important role in helping us to empower those affected by MS to lead healthier and happier lives.

Our trustees come from a variety of backgrounds and each one brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the charity.
Here at the Chilterns MS Centre we feel privileged to have several high profile Patrons supporting our cause. They have provided us with support with our events within the community and helped us to fundraise. We give our heartfelt thanks to all of our patrons.

We are lucky to have almost 200 volunteers working with us across all areas of the charity every year.
Our volunteers are the backbone of our organisation and play a vital role in delivering the support we offer to those affected by multiple sclerosis.
Without our dedicated team of volunteers we wouldn’t be able to run our Oxygen treatment, our café or even answer the phones!
In 2011 we won the Queens Award for Voluntary Services – the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities.
It was created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of The Queen’s coronation. It is the MBE for volunteer groups. Any group doing volunteer work that provides a social, economic or environmental service to the local community can be nominated for the award. Each group is assessed on the benefit it brings to the local community and its standing within that community, and we are incredibly proud to have been recognised in this way.
