Oxygen Volunteers Needed
The Centre offers oxygen treatment to our members, which can help them to feel less fatigued and can help with other symptoms such as bladder problems. Many of the people who use oxygen do so every week and find it a social activity as well.
This popular service is run entirely by a team of trained volunteers. Without them, we would not be able to run these sessions, which many people have come to rely on to help manage their MS.
We are looking for additional oxygen volunteers to run the oxygen chambers. As a volunteer, you will be responsible for operating the chambers, as well as ensuring the comfort and safety of the people using the service. Our volunteers work in pairs and no experience is needed as full training will be given.
We currently have a vacancy for our weekly Tuesday morning sessions – from 8.45am until 1pm. A commitment to attend every week is required.
We also need additional volunteers to help cover holidays and illness.
It’s a really rewarding role where you will meet lots of lovely people and work in a friendly environment, making such a difference to people affected by MS.
