The Chilterns MS Centre, a £1m turnover charity with a 33 year pedigree, supports people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) from across Bucks, Herts and neighbouring counties.

The Head of Fundraising & Communications is responsible for raising the funds required annually to ensure the Centre remains a beacon of excellence and a lifeline to everyone affected locally by MS.

The charity’s income generating activities are spread across multiple income streams including trusts, major donors, community, corporate, merchandise, legacies and earned income.  The successful applicant will work closely with Senior Leadership Team colleagues to ensure income is maximised.   

This vacancy is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and creative senior fundraiser.  We are looking for leadership experience and a proven track record in income generation, but the role could equally suit someone ready to step up into their first senior leadership role.

Facilities Manager/Caretaker

We have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Facilities Manager/Caretaker, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract.

The Facilities Manager will be expected to manage and be responsible for a full range of resources and procurement throughout the charity. This will include buildings and surrounds, fixtures, fittings, plant and equipment ensuring that all are safe, secure, and clean and fit for purpose.

The role is responsible for managing Health and Safety compliance throughout the Centre, including recording and resolving any issues that are identified.  Therefore a knowledge of Health and Safety requirements is essential.

The ideal candidate will also have line management experience, as the role looks after a team including Facilities Assistants and Cleaners, supported by an amazing team of volunteers.

The vacancy is an opportunity for someone who loves to support a range of people in a varied and enjoyable environment.
